通常，托福口语第一题是大家考前练习最多，却考场上最吃不准的一题。因为这题的出题范围五花八门，且准备时间也是最短的，仅有15s。所以，大家想要回答好这题，真的需要训练有素才可以。
考什么话题？
为进行有效训练，我们首先需要厘清的是托福口语的出题思路。第一题的场景属于日常讨论，官方称之为“familiar topics”。当然，这里的熟悉，并不代表你真的熟悉，而是指这些是美国大学校园里大一、大二的常见话题。
设想，一个留学生常见的口语使用场景是日常讨论、小组发言和学科汇报等，同样，这些也是托福口语考试的出题范围。为了方便大家理解，我们分类了近5年的独立题，包括 university policy/ interpersonal relationship/ job opportunity等。
大家日常需要训练的是自己对于一类话题的思考，而非只针对某一个题目。有时同一个观点或者例子，进行修改，来回答不一样的题目。

15s准备时间如何brainstorm？
同学们通常觉得15s准备时间太短了！仿佛白驹过隙，真的没办法想到什么“好”的观点，或者说想到了也没有办法组织好语言。解决办法是，打心底里相信：“我的答案并不需要完美！”
独立题答题时间仅为45s, 如此短暂的时间，考官并不期待你给出一个无懈可击的argument。独立题考察的是语言本身，没有标准答案，回答扣题即可。
“有时候话题简单，我就有特别多的想法和例子；但是有时候遇见 “莫名其妙”的题目，我则大脑一片空白”的想法，是难免慌张的。
其实每道题的答案都蕴含在题干当中！大家基本可以透过关键词去分析可能的答案。比如：

physical fitness test
那么你的回答就可以围绕这个关键词，不断问自己“why”。比如，当我选择agree，也就是“学生需要通过体能测验才能毕业”，问题被转化为：
Why fitness test is good or correct?
想到可能的答案有：
Physical fitness test can motivate students to work out.
Physical fitness test can guarantee the health of graduates from the employer’s perspective.
Physical fitness test can get students’ attention on health issue.
根据“why+关键词”的自我提问，通常都能想到理由，从中选择1-2个最容易举例的就好。至于例子，可逻辑论证，也可用个人经历。后者相对容易，也更容易在托福口语中拿高分。
Task1如何答满分？
以下为满分示范录音和逐字稿，供大家参考。
题目一：
Some students prefer to work on class assignments by themselves. Others believe it is better to work in a group. Which do you prefer? Explain why.
回答一：
逐字稿：
I think traditional classrooms is better. First of all, there are more personal interactions in traditional classrooms than in online courses. Students can have in-person discussions while they can see each other. Possibly, people can become friends in class, whereas in the online courses, students don’t know each other. Also, in a traditional classroom, if a student doesn’t understand a concept or an idea, he can raise hand to ask the teacher directly. While in an online course, there is no chance for students to throw out questions immediately. Students in traditional classrooms not only learn the academic knowledge but also learn basic interpersonal interactions. (106词)
题目二：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Environmental protection is as important as economic development. Use details and examples to support your response.
回答二：
逐字稿：
I think environmental protection is definitely as important as economic development. First, because the environmental problem are always bundled with economy. In fact, we have already wasted and destroyed huge amounts of natural resources, which will surely affect our economy in local area. For example, polluted water can lead to crop failures, so farmer would suffer. Another reason why the environment is so important is because it is a source of natural beauty. Research shows that nature plays a key role in human’s both physical and mental health. Simply for myself, a beautiful and well-protected environment just makes me feel relaxed and enjoyable.(104词)
一个高分甚至满分的答案，从内容上，需要的是结构清晰、论证有逻辑，且表达多样化。与之同样重要的是，发音准确，语调抑扬顿挫。通常，45s答案的词数在100-120词为宜。
